Mandarin Essential Oil and Its Importance in Natural Cosmetics

Thanks to the fatty acids and vitamins it contains, this oil is used as an active oxidizer and a very powerful anti-wrinkler.

The oil is known for its amazing antifungal and antiseptic properties, making it a very popular ingredient for skin care. It helps treat pimples, acne and various skin infections. Mandarin essential oil also has beneficial effects on hair due to its antiseptic properties: it helps in dandruff treatment , dry  hair and dead root regeneration.

It also helps in regenerating damaged tissues and healing wounds.

Because of its aroma, mandarin essential oil is also widely used in juices and perfumes.

It can be used quite well as a massage oil as it helps muscle relaxation and increases blood circulation. Mix tangerine oil with jojoba oil or coconut oil and massage the whole body,  helps in tension, cramps and stress releasing.

To prevent the emergence of stretch marks: mix 1 to 2 drops of  essential tangerine oil with 1 or 2 drops of lavender oil and one teaspoon with another herbal oil according to preference (suggested is  almond or grape). Then perform a massage for about 10 min on the affected area by stretch marks.

While applying this oil it is not recommended to expose the applied area under the sun as it  absorbs harmful sun rays.
