But what is Ghassoul Clay?

Ghassoul is a soothing clay for outer use,  it never expiring if kept dry. It is extracted from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and is widely used in Spa treatments for skin and hair. It is also known as Red Clay (Morocco) and can be found only in these mountains in Morocco. It is formed by a natural combination of volcanic activity and geothermal changes.

It has a unique ability to nourish and soothing the skin, and many people use it every day as a natural soap or shampoo. In fact, clinical studies and tests on Ghassoulin revealed that it could increase skin elasticity, tonify the skin, remove marks and black spots, and soften dry skin and remove dead skin layers. Ghassouli can be used as:

– A Face mask – Make it into a paste with  water or rose water, place it on the skin and wash it off only after it has dried on the skin.

-Face Scrub  – Take a tablespoon of oats and a tablespoon of Ghassoul and make and mix them with apple vinegar till it becomes a paste. Massage your face for 1-2 minutes, then wash it after it dries on the skin. It is advised  to apply it at least once a week.

-Hair Mask – Mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of Ghassoul and spread on the hair and scalp. It is important not to let it dry because it could damage hair fibers. After you massage your head for 30 seconds with the Ghassoul mixture, then rinse it off with luke water.

-Whole Body SkinCare-Simply mix Ghassoulin with water till it  forms a pastre, apply it on the whole body, let it dry then wash it off.
