Apple Vinegar, A Friend for Your Hair

Soaps  and shampoos “strip” the hair and skin from their naturally oils, drying them out. Washing your hair with apple vinegar is a very beneficial for the  scalp and hair.

Preparation

1 teacup of water

2 tablespoons apple vinegar

In a bottle (preferably with a spray mechanism) mix the vinegar and  water, with the same measurements mentioned above, or for larger quantities mix 1/3 cup of vinegar with 1 liter of water.

For oily hair, a higher concentration of vinegar is recommended, but it is good to start with low concentrations and to increase it progressively till you reach the concentration that is right for your hair.

After you have wash your hair with the shampoo you use regularly, apply the vinegar mixture  by carefully massage the scalp and hair. Let it for a few minutes, then rinse your hair. There’s no need to use hair balm.

While the hair is damp, you can smell the vinegar, but it will fade away as soon as the hair has dried out.

Practice this treatment twice a week for satisfactory results.

Caution!

Use only organic apple vinegar, a 100% bio, unrefined and unpasteurized. It is recommended to shake the bottle before each use, to disperse precipitating nutrients.
